We are in St. Louis now! We had a build day today and it was soooooo hot out. The past few days have been pretty flat, hot and windy. We had a sad moment the other day, a dog chased a couple of us out into the road and got hit by a car. There was also a death of another cyclist on a trip similar to ours a few days ago, so we are being very careful. We also saw the race for America guys pass us going the opposite direction. I told one of them we were going to the Pacific while they were going to the
Atlantic. It is crazy what they do. Makes us feel like a leisure ride. We stayed at the university of Indiana the other day, than just churches until today, we are at the university of Missouri. Going across the Mississippi River was a blast. Oh, I had White Castle tonight. It was meh. I rode sweep into the city with one of the Emily's. There are talks of a bob prom happening next week for our day off. It's kind of a big deal since we only get like 3 days off all summer. Here are some pictures of me and stuffs. Apologizes if my prose for this blog is not up to snuff, I'm usually writing this right before passing out on my thermomattress. Night night!
One of our leaders jay, just chilling
Welcome to the west
Going across the Mississippi River in style.
One of the guys at a skate park
Funny(scary) bible signs
Daily panoramas (takin more than once a day!)
Also, there is a bike and build journal that we all take turns writing, and can be found on the website. I wrote for last Sunday, so I'm going to throw my entry on here for another post.
