Day 5
This morning we said goodbye to Bucky and the ladies of the church, than set off. Today I ride with Joyce, mike pope, and Blythe, and we went at a more relaxed pace. It was the longest ride of my life, 72 miles! It was a very nice ride, but ingot another flat tire! It was so annoying! We past a really good looking swamp and a militant firing range, and saw some tanks shoot. People on the way are quite nice and ask all sorts of questions about B and B. We past a small bake sale on the way and I bought a super good apple pie off an old lady for the group. I do not feel comfortable doing DM off of small businesses so I used cash. When we finally got to the host site we were dog tired. Mike helped me with my tires. Than a couple of us played a nice long game of soccer, and right now I'm sitting in bed about to konk off. We are in ken residue verginia btw. Oh and we showered at a fire station, and I'm sleeping on the couch of a local church. Everything is so rural now, there are farms and fields everywhere! Well, I need to sleep, we have 56 miles tommorow. Nighty night.
