Today was a pretty good day. We awoke from our slumber through the amazing power of determination, friendship, and bagels. After cleaning the host site we did some zen bycycle maintenance, after which we were led in our traditional cheer by our very own Sam jasper. We than set out, or first stop being a coffee shop to aquire some much needed caffeine for the group. Than it was off to tarre haut. Considering the other rides that we have had, this one was not to to bad. Mostly flats and rolling hills. I didn't even get a flat tire! Along the way Athena, soko and I spotted a tag sale. We decided to be a little funny and bought a little Christmas tree and a Santa Claus outfit. On the last leg of the ride before lunch I put it on and surprised a few people! Some folks stopped at a castle along the way, but my group decided against it. The rest of the ride was pleasant, and we rolled in to the host at around 4pm. After a refresing snack generously provided by our host, we were shuttled off to the local Y for our showers, where I was given a free towel. It is brown, I am happy about it. Several of us walked back to the host where we enjoyed a great Dinner followed by a huge helping of cookies, brownies, and ice cream. After some watched a movie called breaking away, and some of us played games. Before bed, I am many others called our dads for Father's Day before taking a well deserved rest.
