Cowboy time/must not make and jokes about potatoes and hoes

The last few days have been fun. We went into Jackson, which was a 80 day, mostly downhill, but super windy. Jackson is a fun tourist town. I went there as a kid and was able to revisit an old mock gunfight of my youth. Several of my fellows and I than went to the grand Tetons via a rented car. The sights were simply breathtaking. The next day we departed 90 miles, and headed for
Idaho. We climbed up two biggish hills, and than went across flat but extremely windy plains into Idaho. The main point of interest of this was that at one point I was pasted by a non bike and build rider, and for some reason it triggered a spark in me. Refusing to be pasted, I followed, caught up with, and pasted the rider in red. For the next several miles I worked harder at biking than I have in my entire life. We pasted each other several times. I felt alive with this impromptu race in my mind. Finally we reached a gas station stop, with me pulling out ahead by a hundred yards. I was so happy, though info admit my rudeness in the whole affair. When we entered Idaho, we saw much fields. We stayed at a really nice church, and spent the next two days working for a woman's house, an all around pleasurable experience. The summer is starting to wind down, but there is still much riding to do! Tommorow the break is over, and I'm on sweep duty. Need to rest, tommorow is 71 miles
